When we were first recommended Edward Brown by a friend of ours, I was worried that working together on the initial design might take away the surprise - but it actually worked out perfectly! My partner got to download her ‘dos and donts’ to the head designer Ed, who then worked with me directly until the finished product. This meant we got the best of both worlds- Helen genuinely got the ring of her dreams (particularly because the man-made diamond option meant we could upgrade the size..!), and I got to drive the process so that she was still surprised with the final result.

Ed was amazing throughout, taking the time to explain the design process and our options. We’ve happily put many of our friends in touch with him since. Just the wedding bands to go now…!

There is a tradition in my family
where every woman that give birth has to be gifted with a ring from her husband, so that ring will be passing down to the child. This comes from generations from Casabona, a small town in Calabria, Italy. The two stone ring is to represent the birth of Thomas, a second child welcomed in my beautiful family, hence why this stunning custom made two diamonds ring.
With my first born I was given a solitary diamond, and who knows with the next
one I might be getting a trilogy :)
